
In 2015, an earthquake hit the capital of Nepal and we were required to design a temporary shelters for the inhabitants of Kathmandu, Nepal as they sought to find more permanent housing.
Working with a $1500 budget only per shelter, we had to create suitable shelters with limited resources.

The people of Kathmandu have a very close-knit community and extended family members would live together. It was important that this shelter was adaptable for bigger families and the community at large.
